So, my books arrived a few days ago, and after removing them from the box (the box was needed to transport some feral kittens to the veterinarian, and then back home to our place, which is now their place, but which is neither here nor there), I placed them on the guest bed in the spare room and had every intention of getting early crack at them.

But, so far, all I have done is thumb through “Confessions.” I did manage to see one part where AuGUStine (we really do need to come to some sort of agreement concerning pronounciation) said “To hell with this!” I flipped past it, and was too lazy to go back and read it, but I am excited to know that at some point in the future I will read one of the great thinkers of the church say “To Hell” with something, and I am doubly excited because I get to find out exactly what it is that is being banished.

That’s all I got for now. Off to the doctors. More later.
