Pictures from the trip are forthcoming in the next few days. We had good fun, went to Mount Hope cemetery in Rochester, visited the Letchworth state park on the Genesee River, and had a grand time at the wedding in Traverse City. Keep an eye out here for pics—if you’re not one of my contacts on flickr, though, you won’t get to see the pics of me running naked through the vineyard, or pics of me at all, just stuff we saw.

Two shots I didn’t get that I wish I had: 1) the sign on the back of the semi that said, “Safety is our goal.” 2) the waitress in Illinois who, because she couldn’t hear what I said, suddenly leaned forward and shouted in my face, “Huh?”
