Work closed because of the ice storm, so I’m home today. The trees in our yard are already losing branches. I think things are actually worse south of us, but even so there’s a solid sheet of ice all over. The storm was bad enough last night that it caused our roof and ceiling to leak. Of course the leak is located directly over my side of the bed.

We were without power most of the day and were settling in to a snuggly night under a lot of blankets, at 7 o’clock, it all came back on. It looks like the ice will be around for several days. I got out to take some photos:
