It is clear that your state has devolved into a godless, hedonistic bastion of relativism and debauchery. Fairly soon it will fall off into one of the nearby great lakes. Why would anyone one want to live in a state as crazy as yours?

I haven’t had a chance to read the ruling yet. The Iowa Supreme Court’s website was borked almost immediately. Local political activists are breaking the details slowly: apparently, we’ll get marriage for everyone in three weeks’ time.

Woo! Let’s hope we don’t end up with a referendum. Though I have to say that I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion that Iowans would vote against gay marriage rights if it comes down to it.
