That there is a bill (H.R. 4080) wending through Congress intended to give supermodels greater access to work on U.S. shores is one thing; that Iowa clown troglodyte congressman Steve King objected to it in committee is quite another: “This bill is based on a faulty premise,” King said,

the premise that there are not enough attractive people in the U.S. You might call it the Ugly Americans bill. In a country of 300 million people, don’t we have enough homegrown talent to grace the covers of Vogue and Mademoiselle?
